Why Should I Take a Private One-on-One Session?
Originally, yoga was taught by one teacher directly to one student. The teachers understood the importance of individualizing each yoga experience to meet the needs of that particular student. Today, a private session allows for a more intimate view into your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your practice or spend some time working with an injury or condition. When you work with a teacher in a one on one situation, the teacher is able to help you experience the benefits of yoga in a safe, personal way. These lessons are an invaluable tool for all students, no matter your level and experience. The lessons provide the perfect setting and opportunity to address your goals and work on any areas of interest that you have. These session help you to deepen your practice or even start a new practice, gain confidence, answer questions, and provide guidance, all while being tailored to your personal needs.
Common areas of focus:
Creating a practice for your individual body type, taking into account your strengths and weaknesses and any prior injuries you may have.
Setting up a dedicated yoga space in your home where you will be excited to practice.
Setting goals for personal growth in your asana as well as other areas of your life; spiritual practices and healthy life choices.
Webcam (Skype or Zoom) Yoga Sessions
You don’t need to live near me to experience the benefits of a private yoga session! As long as you have an internet connection, you can be anywhere. Using a video program such as Skype or Zoom I offer private yoga sessions to suit your needs and level. Your first session begins with a 20 minute free consultation to get your camera and mat set up, we will have 10 minutes mat and camera set up for every other session thereafter. We will have had an initial free 30-45 minute consultation to discuss your individual needs and goals for your practice. Following your initial consultation, each 1 hour session will be tailored to your practice so you will receive all the benefits of personalised private yoga sessions in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
